The Administrative Services Department consists of Finance, Information Technology, Central Services, Library and Parks & Recreation. In essence, Administrative Services provides key internal services across the organization to all departments, employees, and to our external customers. This integration of key administrative functions is designed to reduce overhead costs, increase efficiencies in local governmental operations, and provide effective customer service.
The department is run by the City's Assistant City Manager/CFO, Anna Jatczak. Jatczak has a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a master's degree in Business Administration from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, AZ. She has worked for the City of Gilroy as both the Interim City Administrator and prior to that as the Assistant City Administrator. Prior to that, she served in numerous positions with the City of San Jose, CA, including Division Manager and then Deputy Director of the Department of General Services.
Jatczak manages the City's investment portfolio. A copy may be found in the downloads section below.
The Administrative Services Department also supports a General Information Counter, which handles general information questions and through the City’s main telephone number. Other items that are handled at this counter include: purchase of bus passes, copies of City documents, and city-wide mail distribution.
